Dear Readers,
Grim is coming… soon.
I like my male characters anything but tame, you know that if you’ve read any of my stuff. But my new hero is even a shade darker than all the men before him.
Grim isn’t human. He’s Death himself.
When you first see him, he can literally send a chill down your spine. He’s pretty tall, wears a black leather coat, and has long black hair. The realm he rules over is massive and dark. When I say dark, I mean really dark, like lightless, shadowy, pitch-black, impenetrably dark.
I’m so excited and proud and happy about this romance that I can’t stop thinking about my extraordinary hero. What I need now is something to help pass the waiting time! What about you? Are you up for a trip into Grim’s dark realm?
Yes?
😀
First, let me tell you about the cover.
When I saw the first drafts from illustrator Rinna, I had to pause for a moment. It felt like she’d jumped into my head, looked at my vision of the perfect Grim, captured it, and put it on paper (well, actually on screen, but “on paper” sounds better).
I love Grim’s face, especially the tilt of his head, that hint of stubble, the long coat, and that look… ah, that look. It tells you Grim’s no young pup anymore. It speaks of experience.
He’s one of the hottest, most desirable men I’ve ever written. I almost said “met,” because sometimes I can feel his presence. Even now he’s looking over my shoulder, giving me one of his rare, crooked smiles. So you could say Death is literally looking over my shoulder while I work.
As you’re about to see, my Grim Reaper isn’t some skinny skeleton. He’s pretty well-built.
Here’s the cover at last, complete with smart-mouthed raven.

Speaking of the raven.
Thank you so, so much for all your votes on what you thought the cheeky little guy was called. His name is Lucian. I love the name, it’s perfect.
“Asher’s Birth: Grim” releases September 9th, 2025.
If my Grim Reaper scares you, let me tell you, there’s more to him than meets the eye. Yes, he’s immortal, dark, and intimidating, but there’s something unexpectedly compelling about him that carries throughout the book. While there are dark moments, there are also light ones. The book is ultimately about hope, healing, and finding light in unexpected places. Trust me, you’re going to fall hard for him.
I can’t wait for you to meet him.
